How to use the Runes
There are many ways to use the runes. One of the simplist is to place all the runes in a bag and pull one out. Before you do spend a few minutes considering your issue or challenge. This is very important as the runes are not fortune telling but oracle - and need direction and focus. Place the rune on the table in front of you. Look at the meaning and allow your mind to absorb it. Don't strain for an answer and don't expect a wow moment (although they do happen) but do expect some insight and clarity. Many of the runes can be placed upside down - this must be taken note of as it Some rune cannot be placed upside down - but can lie in opposition. Read both of the interpretations (normal and revered) as this will give you greater insight and clarity.
Whichever way you use the runes - make sure you have fun. Life is not as serious as you think.... and expect a great outcome. You will be surprised how you life can change with a little positive thinking. Watch your emotions - they are a great way to see what gets up you nose. Once you recognise a strong emotion you can usually track down they underlying hook. Then let the emotion go - it has served its purpose, that is to bring your attention to an issue. Once tyhis ids done it has no more value and holding on to it will only eat you up.
Some more involved and accurate methods of rune readings are listed below.
Odins Rune.
Place the Runes into a cloth pouch, and shake them up. Reach into the pouch and draw out a single Rune.
Make sure when the Rune is pulled out, and you turn it over that you do not accidentally do not invert the Rune.
This Rune will reveal the crux of your present situation, or the basic answer to your question.
Three Rune Spread
Place the Runes into a bag.
Draw out 3 Rune symbols and put them in a straight line in front of you on the table.
Reading from the left to the right, the positions show;
1. You as you are now,
2. The Challenge ahead of you in your life,
3. The Best Outcome of the present challenge. Read the Runes and interpret them relative to their position.
Three Life Spread
This spread is used for exploring your past incarnations. There are 5 runes needed in this rune spread.
Place the Runes into a bag, and take out five of them, putting them in the order below.
The 1st Rune goes on the right side of you work area. This Rune irepresents your birth and childhood of this life.
The 2nd Rune goes to the left of the 1st This Runic symbol represents your present.
The 3rd Rune goes to the left of the 2nd. This Runic symbol is your future in this life.
The 4th Rune goes below the 2nd Rune. This Runic symbol reveals your past incarnation.
The 5th Rune goes above the 2nd Rune. This Runic symbol is your future incarnation.
Interpret the Runes relative to their position and also relate them to what must be gained in each incarnation.
Runic Cross
Place the Runes into a cloth pouch. Now pull out 6 Runes and put them in this order:
Place the 1st Rune in the center of your table. This represents you as you are now.
The 2nd Rune goes to the right of the 1st Rune. This represents your past.
The 3rd Rune goes to the right of the 1st Rune. This Rune represents the future.
The 4th Rune goes below the 1st Rune. This Rune reveals the foundation of the situation.
The 5th Rune is placed above the 1st Rune. This Rune is the challenge ahead of you.
The 6th Rune goes above the 5th Rune. This rune represents the best outcome.
